Christa Grimm, muralist and painter, has exhibited in the Pacific Northwest for the past two decades. One of Oregon Art Beat’s featured artists, she is inspired by the landscapes of this area. As a muralist, her work graces the walls of restaurants and hospitals throughout Oregon.

Christa has completed many large scale installations including commissions for Casey Eye Institute, Salem Hospital, Oregon Dental Society and area restaurants such as Pinocchio, Tear Drop Lounge, Old Wives' Tales, and Dundee Bistro. Her most recent mural, a 17’ landscape for Casey Eye Institute, gives the feeling of stepping out of the hospital and into a bend of the river, peacefully bathing in the morning sun, with the insects and wildlife on the shoreline.

Christa’s Paintings are alive with color and movement. Through her palette, strong confident brush strokes and her exploration of the interplay between opposite colors, she evokes emotion and involvement from the viewer.
